love yourself

In a world that continues to define a person by the number of likes on a picture or the number of shares and followers, it has become increasingly hard to accept and love yourself. We live in a world that places priority on a person's theme rather than their self-esteem and value. And this is a problem in pretty much everyone in our society. There was a time where I also placed my self-worth on the number of followers, likes and comments I had and I continuously compared myself to people I would see while scrolling through my feed. During this time I had a large amount of toxicity within myself and this created toxic relationships with my friends and family and stopped me from pursuing things that I dreamed about because I felt like compared to these people, I was nothing. But then I went through a journey of self-discovery and nurturing. I know that sounds awfully wishy-washy and off-putting, but let me tell you, it doesn't have to be. bech bag essentials + photo diary

Photo Diary:

The holidays have been great, hot and really relaxing. And although I haven't really made many plans with friends or gone out much, I feel like these holidays have been really good. So here are some photos of my dog, food, the forest and the beach outings with my friends.

Beach Bag Essentials:

It's spring, and its boiling and the beach gets even more appealing every single day. So I finally made some holiday plans with my friend to go the beach and although I am now a little sunburnt, I had a great day.

Since I live near the coast, the beach is one of the main places where I hang out with my friends and the worst thing is when you go to the beach and you are unprepared and all over the place. Like just recently I went to the beach completely unprepared, for example, I didn't have a towel or my swimmers and that is not exactly the best thing to forget when you go to the beach. Thankfully my friend lent me some swimmers and I sunbathed to dry off - with sunscreen.

Anyways here are my must-haves when going on a trip to the beach:

- Sunscreen
- Towel
- Swimmers
- Cover clothes (for after swimming)
- Thongs
- Phone, wallet, keys etc.
- Hat
- Water

This next list is a 'can take' list, so nothing here is necessary but it just depends on what you feel like and what you have planned:

- Book
- Sunglasses
- Food/Snacks
- Speaker
- Change of clothes

Hope you enjoyed, let me know what else you would like to see!
